RAM not releasing

I have 60 users on 2 MF XP FR3 SP3 servers.

The problem is that the RAM being used for their apps will not release unless the window is minimized then maximized.

EX> One user in Customer service had 48 MB of RAM for CSERV.exe, I called her, had her minimize then maximize her window and now CSERV.exe is using 2.5 MB.

Our 4 GB of RAM servers are getting very slow and we allready invested in more memory.

Is there a way I can
A. Limit the memory per session per user?
B. Have the Memory release more efficiently?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'd look at something like AppSense to see if it can help your server, there is a suite of programs that may help your installation.
