Hello,

Is there someone who knows if there is a software utility which creates a RAM drive from a command line within XP SP1.

I need it to change some settings during the installation process of my Windows XP unattended installation. Therefor a RAMdrive created within my OS is not useful.

With Regards,

A command line RAMdisk seems dubious; it needs to be entered into the device chain under the OS.

I believe whatever you are trying to do can be done with some advanced unattended scripting; for example, you can execute a batch file.

This RAMDrive is not usefull.
It must be configured from within the OS by the device manager.
I need a Ram Drive utility which i can execute & configure from a command prompt.
