raid question

i made a raid yesterday with 2 maxtor 80gig 8mb cache one is ide the other one is sata and everything seem to work fine. I am wondering if i can still plug a normal ide drive into my system as ide0 ?

If your MB supports that yes
Most MB's have both IDE and RAID that you can run at the same time
