Controller 0 went out on one of my raid controllers. Actually just target 1 and 2 have died, nothing to bring them back up is a go. My question is what to do now. The raid box has 5 of 8 slots filled. I still have 5 good one (3rd one went while back before present configuration)

Can I shuffle the drives around in to the good ones, clear the raid configuration then create another configuration with the data still intact?

1. If you shuffle the drives around, bye bye data.
2. If you clear the configuration, bye bye data
3. If you crate a new configuration, bye bye data

This is better left to professional that are equipped to handle these type problems, however, yours is not the first. Klon Shugart
