Raid array formatting disks

We have a Compaq server with a RAID array, and some of our 9.1gb disks have gone, we found some replacements but they are SUN drives and SUN formatted, when we put them in the array we get the red error light come on we get this on all 4 of the SUN drives we have.

i think it is caused because the drives are SUN formatted how could we format them so they will work with the Compaq array we have?

if array didnt like them - there should be no lights

dont know what disks you have inserted but i dont think they are compatible
try running the acu and see if it recognises them and if you go do anything with them
