RAID and Dynamic disks

OK I have a Dell PE server with a PERC 4/DC card. I have three SCSI HDD's of which 2 are to be RAID1 and the other a hot standby. My question is this, do I have to convert my basic disks to dynamic before creating my RAID1 setup?

Any advice appreciated.

Forget about Dynamic disks with hardware raid, no need in creating an added point of failure to a raid system.
