raid after install

hi everybody,my question is maybe a stupid one but i go ahead...If i set a server with 1 hdd can i reset it after a while in a 2 hdd hardware raid 1 without re-install all??
Im french sorry for my poo english...

you need to reinstall, no other way to set up the RAID mirror....sorry m8

If we are talking about hardware RAID then image your HDD first. Plug-ing your second HDD, reconfigure your RAID to RAID 1 then image it back, it will work provided the same RAID card was used with the first HDD.
