I have a 4500R with ServeRaid 4M carte.
I wanted to change the Data disk ( 4 * 18 Go ) with 4 * 36 Go
I stop the Server and Plug the 4 disk of 36 Go
I create the Array ( 100 Go in Raid 5 )
And now a User want to find a file which is in the 4 * 18 go ( in Raid 5 )
IBM sait to me to Plug the 4* 18 Go in the Server and Boot the Server and Press Crtl I to go in the bios of the ServeRaid and Import the Config from the disk.
Then i were in the Old config ( 4 * 18 Go in RAID 5 )
Is It a Other Solution.
I Want just a Idea sync i trail this Technik.
