Raid 5 config for domain controller.

I got a new compaq DL 380 that is going to be our new domain controller. Its going to be a raid 5. What is the best way to configure it. One large partition or one partion for the os and one for the data? Which way will be the best? Thanks

How many drives did you get? If it is a new DL380 then it has the 5i RAID controller. if you have enough drives you could mirror your system drive on 2 drives and then use another three drives for a RAID 5 data drive.

I only have 3 drives. I didn't need that much space. Thanks for your reply.
