I am setting up 3 Western Digital Hard drives using a Raid 3 configuration (1 500 GB 3.0 GB/s WD SE, and 2 320 GB WDC RE 150 MB/s). Should I try to set up the drives first using WDC data lifeguard or should I simply continue with the Windows setup if the drives test healthy. I was inquiring because I hate windows formatting. It is slow and outdated. I like WDC Data Lifeguard. But I made I mistake because my Workstation wouldn't boot when I reconfigured it three times. Also, how does one migrate one RAID setup to another most efficiently. I have the PNY S-Cure Data Protection card.
