RAID 1, Tape Library Option and Arcserve 2000 doesn't work

I have a library with 2 drives I have purchased the Library Option for Arcserve 2000 and applied SP4 and the device patch.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the RAID 1 tick box to copy the tapes and export them without the RAID option?

I have tried ticking the box with a virtual library and without to no evail.

Please help! Thank you

RAID only works if the RAID Option is installed.

If you just want a backup copy of the tape, then use tapecopy.

without purchasing the RAID Optition the only way is to put a tapecopy command in a patch file and put it in Post-Job.
