I have a mirrored RAID 1 setup on 2 Western Digital HDDs. I recently had a failure on one HDD. I assumed I would be able to function on one but there was difficulty booting into Windows. I can only function in Directory Services Restore Mode off the functioning one. I've replaced the faulty drive. Can someone offer direction on rebuilding the array without the loss of data? I've backed up my important data, pictures, etc. I'd prefer not to lose information. It is a software raid setup on a Dell Powerege server. Am I just to go into Computer Management, click on Disk 0 or 1 and rebuild? I don't believe that works. Please advise.
Thank you!
