Does anyone know if it is possible to install two drives on the RAID IDE controllers to run RAID 0 and also have a Hard Drive installed on the standard IDE controller on a generic motherboard supporting RAID. I want to use RAID 0 for video editing only and have the OS plus other programs installed on the standard hard drive i.e have C: drive as non RAID.

Michael;

You should have no problem. Just make sure your BIOS is looking at the correct IDE channel for a boot device, and have your drive configured as MASTER (or cable select).

Ed Please let me know if the suggestion(s) I provide are helpful to you.
