Raid 0 question

Hello,
I posted this in the general discussions section, but I just noticed there was a separate board for hard drive related issues, so here we go:

I have a 120 GB ata150 hard drive right now in my computer, but i want to add another 120 GB ata150 hard drive in a raid 0 configuration. My question is, will i end up having to delete all the stuff off the first drive to set up the raid? thanks.

My friend just set up a raid system. And he had to do a complete format before he could set the raid up.
