I have 4 72g disks which are mirrored (i.e. 140g mirrored).

I want to remove the mirror and replace two disks with 140g discs (as I have run out of space)

What is the best way round to remove the disks, bearing in mind they are still live! How to ensure the data always stays up and running on the two remaining disks?

depends on os and raid controller

i assume all the raid is done through hardware
