radio shack cordless

I have installed a radio shack cordless set to the cordless extension on our nortel system. I have tried to transfer, page etc. using the flash (feature) * plus code and this just results in a steady busy signal. any suggestions?

Using Noorstar features on an analog set requires a specific flash time. Check the owners manual of the Radio Shack set to determine the flash time in mili-secs of the unit. Them go into programming on the Norstar, under "system programming", "feature settings" there is flash time setting.Change the Norstar flash time to match the handsets.

Also, not all cordless phones have a flash button (though they should. Bad design). On an analog ext, you press flash * for feature, not just *. So, to transfer a call, flash * 70...
