Hi all!
I have a question about 'Option' (Radio) Buttons in VFP 3.0 By Default they list in the control vertically.. is there a way to set them to Horzontial??

I've been all over the properties, and tried looking in the Help file.. but I wasn't able to find anything.. =)

Thanks in advance!!! =)

To my knowledge there is no way to gracefully set the radio buttions to a horizontal format. Because of the auto-size feature, a horizontal format could run into collisions. Each time I've wanted to use radio buttons horizontally I set them up in the vertical default with each buttons 'auto size' set to TRUE. Once I get them all set up, I switch the auto size properties of each button back to FALSE and then do the drag/drop to place them where I want them. This works fine as long as there's no chance of the caption being changed.

Hope this helps (or at least explains why).

If you drag the radio button container out, then right click on the container, select edit and then click on an individual radio button, you can then drag or move it to suit.

When you have positioned them horizontally, change the container's autosize property to .T.

thanks guys! I figured it out by useing the 'wizard' for the option buttons, and played with it that way. =)
