A site I support recently had Aloha Takeout installed. Two years ago they upgraded to 3 1510's and a couple of 1220's to replace the ancient PC's they had. Initially Takeout was a dog on every terminal as each one had 256 mb ram. The 1220's took 1 gig and seem to work better but the 1510's only support 512 and still seem really slow. I noticed there are two ram slots on the motherboard, is this a chipset limitation or something in xp embedded?
On a side note. The 1510's have always been slow to respond to touch. I've calibrated them numerous times and noticed they drift a little toward the edge/corners of the screen. It also seems like the touch accuracy is much worse in takeout than aloha. Anyone have similar experiences?
thx in advance
