i just got a computer from my brothers work with 800 mhz, 758 mb of ram, and a 64 mb radeon 7500 pci card. The thing is that the games i try to play are very slow and choppy, also.. when i play a game called: Subspace, I noticed little glitches all over the screen, tiny sections of about 7-8 pixels just distorting, this never happend on my old hunk of crap; 333mhz 358mb, 4mb video card.

Any suggestions? please help, I need my computer games to survive. :D

You might wanna check if you got a virus scanner runnig in the back or any other program that consumes a lot of processor time. Disable these when you want to play a game. Also donwload yourself a spyware removal program to get rid of all sorts of unwanted programs that are being dumped to your computer when you go onto the internet.
