I have a customer with a MICS R6.1 T1 card a Nam 4.1, ASM module, and RAD. I assign the RAD a DID line (line 251) and tell it to answer right away (6 sec) Problem is it rings any number of times and won't answer. I have checked rec digets and everything seems fine. I can call and have the recp trans to RAD with F9*0 works no problem, I get in and can perform all the functions.
Am I missing something? I know this works cause I have another customer set the same way and his answers, the only difference his is a PRI. Could the RAD be to old? How can I tell the release?
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you for your input but I have done all of the above, and it still dosent answer.

Can you assign that line to another phone and make ring the phone? At least that way you know the Target Line works.

so much for the easy stuff....did you try to assign a copper co and see if the rad will answer that?

I will go on site tomorow and try your suggestions.

The older rads wound not pick up the higher end trunk numbers and had to have the software upgraded. Someone on here might have the upgrade to enable you to pick up the DID truck numbers ( See a posting back in Oct 27/03 which was dealing with this issue. Hope this helps

Wayne, sounds like you need the RAD firmware upgrade patch...

My above post was a bit longer, but the Moderator clipped it.
I was looking for a way to get the patch to you.
the moderator brought up a very good point that it is not wise to request an e-mail address here. I learned the hard way about 2 years ago and had to change my handle and start all over.

What can I do? I would really like that patch.
