Hi,

My client has an 8 x 24 with DR5 software. Should I install a RAD or a FAST RAD at this site?

Also, what version of NRU would be compatible?

Thanks all.

RAD or Fast RAD will be fine. Any recent NRU will be fine too. 8.1, 9.0, 9.1 or 10. Just remember that you will only be able to use the remote set tool to program with.

If you can get your hands on Norstar Manager, it will work best for an 8x24. In fact, I think NM 3.5 still comes with NRU. You can get to all programming, plus you can do backups and restores.
If you can find an old NM 2.0, it is the best one for your system. IMHO

MR is correct but..
GO WITH A FAST RAD. Norstar manager runs better through the fast rad. Yes Norstar manager, which comes with the NRU 9.1, for the old 8/24 but go FAST RAD. Absolutely. No question.
