Hi,

Is there anyway of exporting RAD box greetings from a Mitel MXe 3300? We are on version 7.1.

Either that, or find out which RAD boxes have greetings configured? I have to find a particular greeting, and have no idea of which RAD box it is on. I have gone through the first 50 and found that my predecessor used random boxes, the greetings have not been recorded in any order or pattern.

Thanks in advance.

maybe looke in the hunt groups that the rads are associated with

Assuming Embedded Mail. Rads are not recorded in mailboxes. Rads are associated with ports. All VM greetings can be found by FTP'ing into the server and looking around in the vmail directory. Filezilla is a good tool.

Happy hunting.

Use filezilla to ftp to the 3300
Log in to system
navigate to
/d/vm
You will see files like below copy them to your local PC
RAD001.VOX
You will need a suitable player for VOX files
I use Acarda voxplayer it is free you should be able to play them and locate the one you need

Thanks for all you help guys, much appreciated.

Supernova. I've never looked for rad messages myself which is why my response was not as specific as yours. I am assuming the /d/vm directory is hidden much like the db directory and vmail. Correct?

Hi kwbmitel,
yes it is initially but if you double click on the root '/' it magically opens up the rest of the directory structure very odd maybe it was done to try and hide it so no one accesses it.

cool, double click root. Does this show All of the hidden directories? So far I've only been managing by guessing the directory names.
