R8.0 transfer outbound call ICM button oddity?

My frist hands on with R8.0(43) and 9508 system phones.

Setup soft buttons for "Auto DiAL ICM PAGE" in hopes of mimicing customers ACS 7.0 transfer functionality.

Button do work as BLF, and page works.

Expected behavior works on inbound calls:

1) User answers INBOUND extenral call
2) User presses transfer button
3) User presses "Auto Dial ICM Page" button for destination extension
4) User and destination extension can interact on intercom session
5) Transfer is completed when user presses complete button.


Call flow behavior oddity:
1) User MAKES OUTBOUND external call
2) User presses transfer button
3) User presses "Auto Dial ICM Page" button for destination extension
4) User and destination extension can interact on intercom session
5) Transfer WILL not complete with button or hanging up handset. Call stays on hold at the sending users station.

Same OUTBOUND call CAN be transfered by pressing TRANSFER button and dialing users extension.

Is this a bug, by design or am I missing something? We are trying to mimic the ACS ICM voice assisted transfer via BLF/Extension button.
