Customer has ACS Processor R7 with R7 Messaging installed.
They are looking at using the Unified Messaging application setup for SMTP (no MS Exchange Server).
I have successfully set up the Unified Messaging app on a separate PC in the office. The PC is running Windows 2000. The Unified Messaging works OK.
However, I can't get it to work on another PC running Windows XP Professional (Version 2002, Service Pack 3).
I noticed the successful post from the previous thread:

I have installed unified messaging on Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional, and Windows 2000 Professional computers. I suspect that it won't install on Windows XP Home computers, but I am not sure. I have also tried installing it on a Windows Vista Home computer without luck."
I know that Avaya does not support Unified Messaging on Windows XP. But, what version of XP did Mike or anyone else use to get this Unified Messaging to work?
Is there a specific Service Pack with less security options? Has anyone else had success with XP?
Would like to know beforehand in case the customer offers a PC with Windows XP to use for this app.
Thanks for any help.
