Hi All,

I have a new IPO 500v2 on R7 going in this week.
We have done plenty of V1 on R5 with SIP trunks to ISTP addresses before and never come across any issues we couldn't solve.

My problem is I cannot make outbound calls?
To be honest I am unsure of what I need to put in some of the new tabs.

Can anyone help?

One thing I have noticed is the originator and target IP seem to be the same?

15/09/61 11:27:08-964ms Connection to Control Unit restarted
15/09/61 11:27:40-573ms Call Ref = 1, Short Code Matched = System, 9N;
15/09/61 11:27:40-577ms Call Ref = 1, Originator State = Dialling, Type = User, Destination State = Seized, Type = Target List
15/09/61 11:27:40-581ms Line = 22, Channel = 1, SIP Message = Invite, Call Ref = 1, Direction = From Switch, From = 212@77.107.128.156, To = 07736311532@77.107.128.156
15/09/61 11:27:45-583ms Call Ref = 1, Originator State = Dialling, Type = User, Destination State = Clearing, Type = Trunk
15/09/61 11:27:45-583ms Call Ref = 1, Disconnect from Destination End

Does anyone have a snapshot of a config that is working?

Thanks Matt

use the ITSP domain if you can resolve DNS otherwise I just put the ITSPs IP int he proxy address.

why are you sending 212 to the ITSP? is this a registered SIP trunk or trusted?

Hi,

I am just using the ISTP IP of 77.107.128.156
The 212 is from the user SIP settings, this does not seem to make any difference to the end result.

I have this working fine on many R5 systems, but not sure what to put in all the new tabs?
I have got nothing in SIP credentials, this could be the fault, but the supplier does not use Name+Passwords only direct IP addressing.

The system should send an invite from our external IP to the suppliers IP. but it sends the suppliers IP to the suppliers IP????

Updated info.

This is the call trace

12/08/11 00:32:38-309ms Line = 17, Channel = 1, SIP Message = Invite, Call Ref = 3, Direction = From Switch, From = +441924577025@77.107.128.156, To = 07736311532@77.107.128.156
12/08/11 00:32:43-312ms Call Ref = 3, Originator State = Dialling, Type = User, Destination State = Clearing, Type = Trunk
12/08/11 00:32:43-312ms Call Ref = 3, Disconnect from Destination End

Customer IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.152
Suppliers IP is 77.107.128.156

01924577025 is the CLI provided for the trunks.
Any help appreciated.

you will need to post the SIP trace output from monitor rather than the call trace.

For some reason the system monitor will not connect, keeps saying trying.

Just looking for a what tabs I should be using for this.

Can so much have changed from R5?

Lol very good amriddle01, but it is a common mistake.

I have resolved the issue with the presentation of the ISTP address.

What a nightmare!!

Thanks for looking at this.
