R6 upgrade procedure

Hi,

I am currently in the process of planning an upgrade from R5 5.0.10 to R6. We use mail and calendaring. We also have 8 servers with 1 SMTP hub. These questions are regarding the upgrade on the SMTP hub.
Will the upgrade affect the other R5 servers and their ability to replicate?
What additional steps need to be taken besides updating code? I have the redbook for the upgrade and they list several steps, however, I believe most of these steps refer to designer and the custom forms/databases.
Any help appreciated.

Hi,

The upgrade will not affect the R5 servers abillity to replicate.

Everything you need to know actually comes with your R6 server. The Administration help and the release notes contain the exact procedure to upgrade any kind of server without much problems.

If you are only using mail and C&S then you should have no problems at all.
