Yep indeed doing it on an iphone is terrible.
I think it is a hell for every smartphone
I wil ltry to install the softphone again tomorrow.
I think there must be an ipo in the network or something simular.

From my point of view, SIP SoftPhone is the best software running with IP Office!
And the best new feature in IP Office is video calls!
Also in Release 6 I like that now to call someone you have to dial his SIP Name (and not username like in R5)!

What do you like and what do you hate in R6 (up against to R5)?

Hi Paul,

I've tried all the steps I have to do.
Tried it on 2 XP machines and this morning on a Vista computer. Same result, it won't install!

I also downloaded the software twice, same result.
At this moment the R6 site is unreachable....

Any suggestions?

I had no issues at all installing it on Vista, may be clashing with another programme/ your anti virus maybe

I tried it on another machine with Windows 7 and no go.
It just does not install.
Tried to log it as a bug but the site is down!!!

Is very odd, I have just put in onto another Vista laptop here, straight on no bother other than the login code thing but that's already logged I think

tlpeter, I just tried Softphone with Win7 (32bit) and it works excellent!
Do you have 32bits or 64?

I am not the only one, i saw a simular notification on th trial site this weekend!

Mine installed fine on 3 x XP machines, 1 x Vista 32bit and 1 x Win7 Pro 64 bit.

I suspect a corrupt download for some of you...
