R6.5 New Mail Notifier Problem 1

When the "You Have New Mail" pop-up notification is turned on, Lotus Notes will draw focus every time there is new mail. For example, if you're working in Excel and a new message arrives, it will automatically pull up Lotus Notes instead of just giving you the notification. As you can imagine this is quite frustrating.

Any thoughts?

Uncheck the show pop up button and check the "Show an Icon in system tray" then you will get a notification without it bringing notes to the front.

Normally the pop-up notification does not draw the entire program into focus... it just pops up over whatever you're working on. In this particular case, when new mail arrives Lotus Notes itself pops up along with the dialog.
