R5 Client rollout using netware scripts.....

Has anyone used a Netwrae script to rollout an R5 client upgrade ??? We are using install pump to generate the client package, but what I can't figure out is how to make the script see that R5 has been upgraded and not run the install again... any and all help would be appreciated.
