i recently put a R3 Messaging in with a 1.5 Processor. it worked fine for a few weeks then all of a sudden stopped answering calls. are ther any known compatibilty issues with these 2? ive rebooted, and checked alarms and double checked all programming. if you call the group, it sometimes rings with the beep and sometimes picks up with silence (further troubleshooting shows the frist 5 ports to be busy and the last 3 pickup with silence). the weird thing is that it still is lighting up certain phones for MWI. the green status light is green and looks the thing is operating correctly.

If you direct select the ports assigned to the auto attendant, does the system answer? Can users retrieve messages from their telephones?

If the answer is no or they can do it for a little while after a reboot, it could be a failing hard drive.

Sounds like a failing hard drive.

I'd say hard drive too, UNLESS when it answers it's saying "the system is in Test Mode" .., in which case the PORT CARD is bad.
