Hey All
I have an R2MFC MBM that I am trying to access through the CLI. I have the RS232/DB9 to RJ45 Cable and adaptor, (It's not the one that came with the unit, that was lost in a move) I'm pretty sure the pinouts are correct, I am seeing the link, can receive output from the R2MFC to Procomm, but I can't send commands to the unit itself in order to actually configure or talk to it.
My cable is set up as follows:
DB9 RJ45
Pins 1, 4, & 6 looped Pins 1, 2, 4, 7, & 8 unused(ignored)
Pins 7 & 8 looped
Pin 2 (Rxd)----------------------Pin 6 (Txd)
Pin 3 (Txd)----------------------Pin 3 (Rxd)
Pin 5 (Gnd)----------------------Pin 5 (Gnd)
Any thoughts, or info on what if anything I am missing or have wrong would be greatly appreciated.
