Hi all,

I currently have an R2 E1 circuit off a Nortel DMS via ADC Campus modems using G703 interface cards to an AVAYA IP OFFICE through a balun to the PRI card of the IP OFFICE. I have the Line setup as E1-R2 Universal 30 channels and I'm wondering why can't subscribers who block their outgoing caller ID terminate on the IP office .If i swap in a BCM 450 (EXACT E1R2 DID CIRCUIT) these calls work ,however with the IP Office in the calls drop off. THESE ARE A few of the E1 settings currently on the E1 setup on the IP office.please help, thanks much ..

I would suggest you run Stystem Monitor on the IPO
Enable all ISDN Layer 3 packets in the filters & then take a look at why the PO is rejecting the call

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
