Hello,

I am having a lot of trouble configuring R2 for venezuela in a mitel NSU. The calls come in but ring back tone is noisy and the call is more noisy. Have try modifying every setting. Any ideas? Does someone has configure a R2 for cantv in venezuela?

Not sure if the same thing applies to R2 as the North America equivalent but you might try inverting the Voice Encoding in the Link Descriptor.

that was it. Now I have a problem that the outgoing calls get barred. In the ccs trace it says:

20:13:48 RO49 DPN 27 ISRM_I ;10;*1*1#*50*0583#*100*ANALIS DE PRESP*1#
20:13:48 RO49 DPN 29 SSRM_C *58*CW*|mx@@@@@@XeHS@#*58*C6*001#8729821
20:13:48 RI49 DPN 23 CRM/CIM ;29;*100*ACCESS BARRED ACCESS BARRED#

Any ideas?

What digits are you actually trying to dial here?

Have you enabled call by call? If so have you programmed CXC digits in your Mod Digits.

Try using a terminal emulation at 38,400/n/8/1 on the maint port of the NSU and type:

option +dispcall

This will show you the digits dialed after modification by the 3300 and sent to the Telco.

yes, I have connected lots of R2s for both Movistar and Cantv in Venezuela.

Send me your email and I will attach all programming required for both the 3300 and the NSU.

Also, where exactly are you connecting the PBX, what city? Cantv has about three different "register signalling" schemes.

Who you work for in Venezuela?

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Dan,

my email is panitaxx (at) gmail. I did not find the email link in the forum. I work for MPD (planificacion y desarrollo. Here in parque central caracas. Connecting to 2 E1s. One incoming and one outgoing. Where can I see Sysid and release ?

My email is as follows: daniel@wtelecom.com

The Sys ID or the Hardware ID is located under:

System Configuration
System Capacity
License and Option Selection

There you will find some numbers and letters (Hex) next to the Hardware Identifier, give me that number.

With that number I will be able to find out what equipment and software you have, and I will send you the programming needed for you to make that rock and roll!!

Confirm is an E1-R2 with CANTV. Do you also need programming for Movistar??
