IS-IT--Management
I've got five servers setup identically. Four of them work just fine with this one 32bit app which is installed exactly the same on the others. The issue with this one server is the 32bit app won't start. I can use the task manager to see the app start for a brief moment and then it closes.
I've totally uninstalled it and reinstalled it making sure to issue the "change user /install" first. These are all remote desktop enabled boxes. All members of our domain and all in the same OU in group policy.
Strange thing is, if I add the domain users group to the local administrators group, it works just fine. However, I can't be having our domain users as admins for obvious reasons.
I've also removed from the domain and rejoined. I even just got done rebuilding the server AGAIN and still get the same results... I'm at wits end with this darn app. It's obviously a permissions thing since the app can run when it's ran as an admin. I've got UAC disabled on all the boxes just the same..
Can anyone give me any ideas on what to try? I'm just flat burnt out of ideas here...
