R11 essential license installed as R10

Hey gang,

Does anyone know if an R11 Essential Edition license can be used for an R10 500v2? I know the IP endpoints and other licenses are R10+ and will work with either major release, I just don't know about the essential one.

I was in the process yesterday to try that but a emergency came across.
And the next weeks I am on a break so no IPO stuff for a few weeks.

I currently have a 10.1 IPOSE with a complete set of R11 Licenses working just fine. Cant say I have tested on a chassis but I am confident it will work

It does work on a IP500v2 chassis as well.

Sweet, thanks. I guess we should order all new systems as R11 and just load them up as R10 for now.
