I upgraded to R11.1.0.0 Build 237 and 11 and it works well with the PC22 software. However I have other systems below PC22 (PC21 = 11.0)(Basic Mode)and here again it works well but you can't save any changes to the configuration. When you try to save it - Merge or Immediate it will pop up an error "Failed to save the configuration data (Internal Error). this happens on new systems, existing systems, and any system below release 11.1.

On essential edition - 11.1 work well on saving configuration data on all releases I have tried.

Please help, I have a customer with 1000's in Basic mode (retail)

R11.1 to R11.1 Basic = okay on saving config
R11.1 to R11.0 Basic = "Failed to save the configuration data (Internal Error)

That is why I have at least one version of every release on my laptop. They are not always as backwards compatible as one might think it should be.

As budbyrd said you can have multiple versions of manager. You only need to install 1 version of manager the rest you can simply copy the manager folder (I typically grab the monitor and SSA folders too) to another location then the default install folder. Then you can browse and open manager for that specific version. Be careful if you do this because when recreating SD cards you need to change the directories to the correct manager folder.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

That is what I do here in my LAB use 11.0 and 11.1 by changing names on files. But I have a customer that is use to using one Ayava Manager to do all of her work on their systems. Hopefully the next upgrade to 11.1 will correct this issue. I do appreciate you guys. Thank you.
