R10 upgrade downtime 1

So for those of you that have done a R10 upgrade, is the downtime comparable to R8 - R9..?

I'm assuming about a minute of downtime

If you put the xml license file on the sd card first then it is about the same.

So that would go into the Primary section of the SD card..?

So after you upload the xml to the Primary section, you just proceed with upgrading the IPO..? or is there another step?

I am not sure where but i think indeed the primary folder. Search for the ip500 install guide and search for plds.
It is in there for sure. I done it once.
If you don't then you cannot upload it by manger because of the never ending file upload.

tlpeter, so I did find that you can download directly to the SD card, but going into manager and selecting License and adding it there does the same thing.

So then use the upgrade wizard and your good to go

That is true but if manager is doing the file upload you cannot do that. You need to wait till the end.
