R10 PLDS

Upgrading a system from R9.1 to R10, ordered the licenses, received XML file after being activated and uploaded them to the system using the PDLS add license. I went in to review my licenses before upgrading and I'm not seeing the upgrade licenses installed on the system. Do I need to upgrade to R10 before I can see these license or is there an error on my part? I've installed a hand full of new R10 systems but this is my first upgrade.

There is no upgrade license per say for R10, the XML license includes an indication of the release it is for and so effectively acts as the license for that release.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

You can do to things.
1. Put the xml file on the sd card (see the manual how)
2. Upload the file after the upgrade.

You will need to reopen the config to see the licenses.[highlight #FCE94F][/highlight]

Upgrade, then add the xml file.

I did one lately I upload the file and then upgrade.
You will see the new license after the upgrade.
