Hello all:

I recently purchased a D-LINK 704P Router which I placed in service using the following existing configuration:

Cisco 678 connected to Qwest Office Works (720d/256u) DSL service using PPP connection.

Cisco 678 uses 192.168.0.254 as intenal IP. D-Link 704P uses 192.168.0.253 as external ip.

Cisco 678 uses 192.168.0.252 as internal IP.

I have NAT enabled on the Cisco and am forwarding all ports (set nat entry add 192.168.0.253 0) to the D-Link. I am using Virtual Server on D-link for FTP, WWW, and POP.

My problem is that I can't get VPN for MS2K Server to work. I also did a protocol 47 (GRE) forward from the Cisco to the Dlink (set nat entry add 192.168.0.254 0 47) .. However, there is no way (that I can see) on how to forward a GRE protocol to the inside IP of my server from the D-Link. Has anyone been able to do this? Do I need to set my Cisco 678 in briged mode? I tried to do that as well, but was unsucessful in getting the D-LINK to access the DSL WAN. Any help would be much appreciated.

Javier
