ServerA has multple drives. In the case of E:\ there are folders for students and staff that are individual shares.
A staff member has said they're getting warnings they've run out of space. Looking at the quota settings for E:\ I see the following:
Enable quota management (On)
Deny disk space to users exceeding quote limit (Off)
Select the default quota limit for new users on this volume:
Do no limit disk usage (On)
Limit disk space to (Greyed out)
Select the quota logging options for this volume:
Log even when a user exceeds their quota limit (Off)
Log even when a user exceeds their warning level (Off)
Checking the quota entries I find the following settings for this user:
Status (Ok)
Amount Used (506.55MB)
Quota Limit (No Limit)
Warning Level (No Limit)
Percent Used (N/A)
This is not the first time I've seen this. I fail to see how there can be a limit when it appears there is no limit. From what I see the quota setings have not been steup correctly but appear to be working.
Any ideas?
