I have just upgraded our web server from RedHat 6.2 to 7.2 ....
Everything went fine.....server is up and running.....new kernal(2.4.7-10) is installed. BUT now quota system is not working.
It used to work fine in RH 6.2 server.
Whe I reboot my server I get following message:
quotaon: quotaon: using /home/aquota.user on /dev/sda5: No such file or directory
rc.sysinit: Enabling local filesystem quotas: failed
what is 'aquota.user' file ?? Why it is no using 'quota.user' of our
earlier RedHat 6.2 server.
my /et/fstab file has :
/dev/sda5 /home ext3 exec,dev,suid,rw,usrquota 1 2
and /home dir has 'quota.user' file with proper permissions.
Also following command is not working in new 7.2
/usr/local/bin/quotatool -u sklinux -bl 10000 /home
quotatool: Failed fetching quotas: Invalid argument
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
