Hi everyone

Can we avoid the time between the end of the message and the ring when DISA is programmed with VMIB annoucement for incoming calls.
I mean when you program PGM140 with DISA ON and welcom Message 001, and no digit are entred by the caller waiing for transfer to OP, the time between the end of message and the ring is too long, can we remove it = 0.

By the way can we remove the system message saying "your call will be tranfered to attendant" just after this time
Regards

PGM160 BTN4 "DISA Retry Counter" set to 1. (or 0).

or you could let the PGM144 point to a hunt group with only the attendant as member. The welcome message for this goup could be set to answer immediately.

And: You can remove the system message saying "your call will be tranfered to attendant".
You need to find the message number in the Feature Description. For ipLDK-100 it is: 076 (Transfer to Attendant Prompt).
A you know, in VMIB for ipLDK-100/300, there are 70 system messages to record for the user/customer. VMIB #71-99 are system messages. Delete message 076, as you would delete a user message by the star (*) or just re-record an empty message for message 076.

It's already done for PGM160
The problem is not that the message is repeating but the time between the end of the recorded welcom message and the moment it ring at station is about 7 seconds and this is too long.
I thought about a hunt group but would I have the possibility to access DISA, I mean the possibility to dial an internal station from outside????
I don't think so!

Hello tarikkk

On ipecs you can point your call i prg231 to a voice without drop and record "please dial ext", then you have a disa

The timer for the time after the message is in prg180 on a ipecs and called 'inter digit timer' if you decrease this your call will route faster to attantend

Good luck

If you use the hunt group, then, of course, you cannot use the feature "dial another extension".
Otherwise decrease the 'inter digit timer' as abl2910 predicts.

I thought Inter digit timer was for time between the digits entred by caller.
exemple: when you enter 100 the inter digit time is the time between 1 and 0, then the other 0.
But I will try it tommorow and see.
Thanks both!

Hello Tarikkk
The inter digit timer is as you say the time between the number dialed, but what i know it is also used to change the time, when you make external fwd and the one i have mention abow. There for don't change it to much, then you will get an other problem.

abl2910

Ok abl2910

It works, but as you said you can not decease it too much otherwise you can not dial at all!!

Thanks a lot
