"You have a message" indicator will not go away 1

I have a 7310 Norstar phone that has no messages and the message indicator on the display will not go away. I have reset the phone, removed/added voicemail, checked coverage path and nothing will remove this display. Is there something else I should be looking at in the phone system? I have not changed the line assignment since this problem is in another state from where I am.

See if the mailbox has the proper ext assigned to it. May be clearing the wrong box assigned to that ext.
