Hi,

Some folks at work think we should drop the " of our Web address when we promote our Web site. Does it matter what browser and version you are using or your ISP as to whether or not you need to type this in to get to the desired site. What do you folks think?

Best regards,

Henry

It doesn't matter what comes before the domain as long as it maps to a web server. You could call it or web.domain.com or jigglypuff.domain.com .. it really doesn't matter as long as DNS maps it to the correct web server.

Chris is right on point. I say drop the make sure that whoever your domain name is registered w/ maps it w/o the that name lookup will function correctly. I think dropping the more aesthetic. ....my $ .02
