Hi all,

Here is a message already posted : I am using the infopower component lib on Delphi 1. In a TTabbedNoteBook, I have set a TwwDBGrid and get a "window creation error" when trying to fill the grid. I am using the BDE 16 bits release 2.50.

I have been told through this forum to get the right release of infopower components. I have installed released IP2 from one of my colleague and the problem is still pending

Platform tested : windows98, windows2000, winNT (3 different PCs)

More technical information :

- when I suppress the tab containing TwwDBComboDlg component (linked to the grid), it works. The error is occurring if (A) I replace this component by a classical delphi component or (B) I suppress this component and trigger the data selection by a right clic

- error is "window creation error". Exception is EOutofResources (in help : window cannot reserve an handle). I have already met this exception in a previous life (zooming in a TImage). I had solved this issue by proceeding to a windows reinstallation. It does not work in this case

Further action planed : use IP3, port application on Delphi 32 bits.

Can you suggest other ideas ?

Thank you very much

hi,

Port your application to Delphi 32 bits( at least delphi 3), as far as i know nobody is working with delphi 1 anymore. So the help you can get here is minimal.

Hi all,

FYI : This issue has been solved by removing DBEdit and replacing them with DBtext
