is it possible with flash to go to the bottom of a page?
if yes, HOW?
easier to see this example then to explain what i mean:

when you click "our work" the window location goes down.
thanx for any idea ...

Possibly when using anchors. But from what top Flash movie would you want to do this in your above example?

hi oldnewbie,
the above example was to illustrate what effect i meant.

i created a full flash site. on the top i am loading text in dynamic textfields. under that is an area where different pictures are displayed. then come two more textfields and another display area. and i thought it might be possible to use a <A HREF="myarea"> to jump to the text over the second display area.

i know in dreamweaver you can simply use anchors. but i am not good at making the connection to flash and have no clue how to make it work. newbie at all this ...

is there a good tutorial you can hit me with???
thanks

Some confusion still...

Must I understand you want to jump from the Flash movie, to another section lower in the same html in which the movie is embedded? Or jump within the Flash movie itself?

lol ...
probably i am totally confused myself.
sorry, will try to solve this:

i want to jump to the bottom of the same html.

there, should have said that in the beginning.
thanks for clearing it up...

I've never used anchors, and the only thing I've ever found on Macromedia, is this technote that refers to anchors not working in framesets...

While this is not your case, and it's not really ment to describe the use of anchors with getURL, it does in fact do just that, if you forget the whole bit about framesets.
