"Unable to position media catalog file"

Hi,

Some urgent assistance would be appreciated.

We are getting the error message "Unable to position media catalog file" and also prior to this Arcserve is asking for a tape with Sequence number 2 in.
This is when trying to restore data from the tape.
The job activity log showed that the backup data was fine with no errors or any mention of asking for a sequence 2
Have tried every possible avenue.
Please help.
