"unable to install database schema" while install CIM

Hi Guys,

The error "unable to install database schema" occurred while i tried install CIM 7.

Anybody can help?

Hi,
Not using MSDE, but select SQL server for database. Can MSDE and SQL co-exist?

Do you have sql server to put the database to? I had trouble selecting a database to use so I choose to install MSDE on my local machine and then it installed fine.

Bit of a wild guess, but does the user you're installing under not have to be in Schema admins in AD ?? (If it's on a Win2000 server)

I'm also having the same difficulty - trying to install CIM7 on an existing SQL server...
