"Unable to expand folder" when accessing users mailbox from Outlook

I have given myself admin permission to access a users mailbox from exchange administrator. However when I try to expand the users mailbox from my Outlook I get the
"Unable to expand the folder. The set of folders could not be opened. The operation failed."
I have been accessing users mailboxes in this way for a while with no problems. I am still able to access the mailboxes that I had access to before. Its only the new ones that I cannott access.
If any of you have come across this problem before I would appreciate your comments/suggestions.
