I have a customer who gets "Unable to display folder" error message when she tries to open her Inbox. She can see there are 29 messages there but can't get to them. They use an Exchange Server.

Of course, she doesn't know what she did but told me she was deleting stuff when this happened. Any ideas I can have her try in order to be able to open her Inbox?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the quick response, Sawedoff..I guess I neglected to put in that they are using Outlook 2000. The link you gave me is for 2003.

I did find some articles on using an Inbox Repair Tool to recover messages in Outlook 2000 and sent that off to her (
Not sure if that will solve the problem. If anyone has other suggestions, I would appreciate the help.

Try starting Outlook with the /clearviews switch.

Thanks, Hamov. Can you be more specific how she would do that?
